It is a very big port and situated at the meeting point of the river Mahanadi and Bay of Bengal. The area of the port is very big. So many international ships are coming into the Paradip port. The port mainly deals with bulk cargo apart from other clean cargo. The capacity of the port in annually handling the cargo is 108.50. A Light house is also present in the Paradip port .The height of the light house is more than 50 meters.
